One row per invoice in Income, one per receipt in Expenses, your trips in Mileage and your hours in Hours. Everything else calculates itself.

At filing time, open the VAT summary: sales per rate, input VAT and the amount due, per quarter, in filing order. Copy it into your return. VAT rates are fully editable, so it works in any VAT country.
